Make Your way level and straight before my children. They are young and need Your guidance. Send me out before them as a mighty worker removing stones and breaking down obstructions with every prayer I utter and every act of obedience and service to You. Ps. 5:7-8

Do not let my children become discouraged by their past mistakes. It’s over! Your word says that you heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. Open my children’s hearts so your Spirit may pour into them and get to work. Psalms 147:3

Being filled with pride comes naturally. Give my children more heroes like David Robinson who gives all glory to You! It is only when my children finally admit their victories are simply reflections of Your glory that they are supplied with the supernatural strength of a humble spirit. Stop my children from praying for show! Don’t let them become like the hypocrites who love to stand and pray in the churches and street corners so they can be seen by men… for it they do their reward will come from men and not from You. Mt 6:5

May my children live this day and every day with the knowledge that this could be our last day. May they turn to You in urgency about all matters and not weigh themselves down with their worldly worries and cares pertaining to the business of this life. Lk 21:34
