Being filled with pride comes naturally. Give my children more heroes like David Robinson who give all glory to You! It is only when my children finally admit their victories are simply reflections of Your glory that they are supplied with the supernatural strength of a humble spirit. Humility is not a sign of weakness……

Teach my children the power of prayer. Show them that You rescue others because of our prayers and that many will give thanks to God when those prayers we have been diligently praying for them are answered. 2Corinthians 1:11

Send a mentor into each of my children’s lives, someone who will learn their strengths and encourage them to grow in the direction of Your Son! Thank you for letting me shepherd my flock… and thank you for sending help! Php 3:17

My children will merrily traverse the path You have laid before them and never give up, even during trials. You will send wise travel companions to accompany them when needed, equip them with everything they need to persevere, and send encouraging supporters when they must walk alone. They are blessed. Reveal Your magnificence to my children… use the mountains, the testing of someone like Nick Vujicic (worth googling), or the wonder of the tiny snowflake… just help my children view themselves in relation to You so they may remain humble… for only the humble will be lifted up and their lives made significant! Make my house strong so the enemy can’t use us to hurt each other. As I parent Your remarkable children… I will keep them from hunger, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion… that is when they become vulnerable and make bad decisions.
