May the Lord make my children increase, excel, and overflow in love for one another and for all people… just as I do for them! 1 Thes 3:12
May the Lord make my children increase, excel, and overflow in love for one another and for all people… just as I do for them! 1 Thes 3:12
Thank you for giving me Your peace. If I become wrought up or anxious about anything today, remind me that I am wasting treasure. Show me that it is as silly as swimming in a crystal clean river and complaining of thirst. Help me teach this to my children. John 14:7
Teach my children to pray for all people, to make their requests, plead for God’s mercy upon them, and give thanks. 1Timothy 2:1
Keep my children from busying themselves with other people’s affairs rather than doing their own work. I will correct them as needed without becoming weary or losing heart in doing right. I will be consistent. 1Th 3:11-13
Don’t let any unwholesome talk come out of my mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up. My children will know my criticism is for their benefit and not feel the sting but only the comfort of my hand leading them in the way of God. Eph 4:29
My children will be strong, courageous, and firm in the face of their enemies; they will fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is You, the Lord our God who goes with them. Thank You for the promise to not fail them or forsake them. Dt 31:6
Go with my children into the New Year so they will live and not hide. Give them the catalyst to activate their faith… courage. Show them how to tremble their way to confidence, that courage isn’t the absence of fear, but the conquest of it. Dt 31:6
II Tim 1:7 God has not given us a spirit of fear, but He has given unto us a spirit of power, a spirit of love and a sound mind!
