Help my children see that constantly seeking council from friends is a sign they aren’t hearing and understanding Your voice. Gently correct their sins so that their hearts will be pure and they can receive Your words. Mt 5:8

You purposely created my children with a need that only You can meet. When they come to depend on other sources to fill that need they are guilty of idolatry. May they recognize what they are doing, stop, and learn to enjoy the fullness of a daily relationship with You. 2Pe 3:9, Isa 55:6

When my children choose to live by Your Spirit, give them a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time so they don’t get discouraged and give up. Show them opportunities to do good so they may please You. Gal 6:8-10

Somehow show my children (in a way that makes sense to them) that their job as Your child is to trust You … to be happy today even if they are in pain … For You have deprived it of power to harm them and have conquered it for them! John 16:33

Show my children that their job is to obey your commands and instructions and that Your job is to fight for them and clear the paths You’ve set before them… destroying all roadblocks that are keeping them from entering their place of blessing. Do not allow sin to control the way my children live. Teach them that living without restraint is like removing brakes from a car, while the ride will be exciting, it will end in disaster. Help them see that whatever they choose to obey will become their master, and then give themselves completely to You!…
