For their own good, I pray my children make up their minds to walk with You and follow Your plan! Ephesians 1:11 

My children’s life is like a pocket of coins. Rather than polishing the copper coins of their past in hopes of making them more valuable, I pray they will pick up the shiny gold coins of their future and use these God-given strengths to bring value to their lives. 1Ti 4:14

Help my children grasp that Your promises apply only under covenant relationship. Let them understand that You never break Your promises … but if my children choose to break covenant with You by living in unrepentant disobedience … they have broken the covenant and ultimately their conduit in receiving Your promises. 1 Chronicles 28:9

May the sunrise become sacred to my children as the Glory of God speaks out over all the earth. May they exalt God above the heavens as they are reminded in Technicolor to live this day for You! Ps 57:11

Use me to fill up anything that may still be missing in my children’s faith. Make their love grow and overflow for each other and to everyone else so that Christ will make their hearts strong, blameless, and holy when they stand before You on judgment day. Thessalonians 3:12-13

Show my children that keeping score is a sign of immaturity. Show them that forgiveness is defined by their actions… and that if they truly forgive someone who offended or hurt them, their actions towards that person will communicate that fact.
