Keep my children from believing the lie that the thing they desire most will bring them the happiness they so desperately crave (be it a relationship, their health, a certain possession, financial security, etc…). Teach my children that true happiness comes when they trust You for what they need, knowing if it’s right You’ll provide…

Join my children to Christ’s body by his strong sinews so they are nourished and strengthened by You. Show them that the only way to receive Your strength and blessing on earth is to bind their lives to Jesus Christ. Show them that sin weakens the connection and saps their strength. Colossians 2:19

Let the spirit of Christ grow strong in my children, for that is the assurance that they will share in his glory. May Christ’s mighty power mature in them so they can share His glory with others. (Col 1:27)
