Monday 6/01/09

My children will be strong, courageous, and firm in the face of their enemies; they will fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is you, the Lord our God who goes with them. Thank you for the promise to not fail them or forsake them. Dt 31:6

I know all about sin! Let my children admit their shame to me so that I can help relieve their guilt, lighten the heaviness, and restore their spirits. I pray they take my hand… as I know the way to the cross! Gal 6:1 BG 7-26-08

When my children fall into bed after a long productive day I will rejoice rather than pity them for having to work so hard … for the sleep of a laboring man is sweet … and the ability to enjoy the fruit of labor is a gift from God. Ecclesiastes 5:12,19

Bless my children with the kind of faith that empowers them to receive what they ask for in prayer. Prompt them to forgive all grudges they are holding against others. Go with my children into the New Year so they will live and not hide. Give them the catalyst to activate their faith … courage. Show them how to tremble their way to confidence, that courage isn’t the absence of fear, but the conquest of it. Deuteronomy 31:6
