Make my children willing to suffer for Your name, to choose not to sin and stand firm in pleasing You. This is one of the ways they show their love for You and place themselves in the Shelter of the Most High and causes them to dwell in love. Psalms 91:1
May my children recognize who they are… clay in the Potter’s hand. The pressure, spinning and heat may at times feel ‘too much’ for them as their lives are shaped and formed into vessels God can use to bless… as well as bless others. Isa 64:8
We are commanded by Jesus Christ not to worry. Most of the trouble my children fear will never happen… worry is simply Satan’s tool to steal their day… and eventually their life! Mt 6:25
I pray my children speak with You this morning, saying to You, “All You command us we will do, and wherever You send us we will go.” Joshua 1:16
Don’t let my children be discouraged by correction. Remind them that You discipline those You love, and punish those You accept as your children. Heb 12:5-6
My children will not be hindered by their past mistakes. When thoughts of hurt and betrayal enter their thoughts today, remind my children that You gave Your Son for their forgiveness… so they appreciate Your ultimate act of sacrifice so that they may live a free, peaceful, and joy filled life.
