Don’t let my children conform to this world but let them be transformed by the renewal of their mind. Give me a heart to be their spiritual blacksmith so that I may use my time with them wisely… molding them to follow You. 1 Sam 13:19

I know all about sin! Let my children admit their shame to me so that I can help relieve their guilt, lighten the heaviness and restore their spirits. I pray they take my hand … as I know the way to the cross! Galatians 6:1

Make my children leaders. Help them understand that the true measure of a leader isn’t getting people to work nor getting them to work hard … it is about getting them to work together. 1Samuel 7:12 Numbers 11:14, Nehemiah 4:6

If my children don’t have peace, reveal to them the root. If the cause is their own sin may they confess it today, stop the sinful behavior, and most importantly RECEIVE forgiveness so Your joy may come to them! 2Samuel 11:27, 1 John 1:9

Secure my children’s values so they stand firm when tempted. May they know who they are. Then release them from the urge to compare themselves to others, especially those that are not pleasing you. Give them the grace to free others from conforming to their standards and the security to believe that judgment is your…

Make my house strong so the enemy can’t use us to hurt each other. As I parent Your remarkable children… I will keep them from hunger, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion… that is when they become vulnerable and make bad decisions.
