When my children are knowingly or unknowingly walking in sin, cause their hearts to soften. May they hear and heed Your messengers rather than mock Your rebukes. My children will learn to be courageous much like they learned to walk. They will see Your outstretched arms and hear Your loving voice saying, “Come, you can do it!” Make them understand that the assurance of Your voice, Your presence is all they need to tread safely into the unknown. Deuteronomy 31:6

When my children complain they become confused when it backfires! May they learn to simply ask for what they need or want from me instead of assuming, demanding, or complaining! Php 2:14

Show my children that great wealth misappropriated is the ruin of many people. Fill my children with purpose and promise… a drive to work hard and may they prosper… ultimately and faithfully investing their increase in You rather than hoard it for overindulgent pleasure and self-gratification. Jas 5:1-5

Prayer is more than a string of words or a list of requests; it is the act of intimacy with God. Coming into intimacy with You is the principal purpose of prayer. Let my children experience Your amazing presence through their prayers so they will know the power of keeping those lines of communication open….

Help my children understand what it means to honor one another above themselves. Let them experience the unexpected joy of helping others and the unbelievable peace that comes when they stop believing that their way is the only way. Ro 12:10
