I pray my children seek You for a vision for their future … so that I can become their biggest cheerleader. My spirit agrees with theirs when they are walking in Your will so that I get to support rather than correct! They will not allow facts or naysayers to interfere with their God given visions and they may look to me for a reassuring word or smile in the face of big odds … because I know You are bigger!

God speaks to us through the magic of music. Hearing a new song sometimes puts a bounce in our step or a smile on our face that lasts all day, or an instrumental arrangement that for some inexplicable reason fill our eyes with tears… thank You for these little previews of heaven while on this…
Give my children a revelation of communion. Jesus is the Bread of Life and I pray my children will KNOW this so they will never be hungry or thirsty and will continually be filled with Him so they lack nothing. John 6:35
My children will make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person that offends them. They will be bound together by love and let the peace that comes from Christ rule their hearts. Col 3:13-15
Help my children grasp that Your promises apply only under covenant relationship. Let them understand that You never break Your promises… but if my children choose to break covenant with You by living in unrepentant disobedience… they have broken the covenant and ultimately their conduit in receiving Your promises. 1 Ch 28:9
May my children dwell in love, to live it and walk it out, and not just love for You but love in action for those around them. For in doing so they place themselves in Your shelter and can weather any storm. Ps 91:1
Build strong character in my children by giving them a clear sense of purpose. As they mature in character they will crave Your word, then all will be revealed; why we are alive, how life works, what to avoid, and what to expect in the future. My children will build their lives on eternal truths,…
