My children are only accountable for what You give them. Do not let them become bogged down comparing their lives to others. My children will acknowledge the personal corruptions present in their hearts and give those to You, but they will not use them as a crutch to justify their shortcomings. They will present their pure unblemished hearts before You by covering themselves with the blood of Jesus … and they will live free. Leviticus 2:12

Give my children Bible Promises in a bumper sticker world. Let them be as moved by scripture as they are by the latest quote! Your promises lead to a life of more joy, laughter, peace and contentment than any witty phrase. Rom 12:2, Psalm 1:1-3

My children don’t need an army to defeat their giants… they just need praise. As they learn to praise You in the trenches my children will learn that You live in that kind of atmosphere and a channel is created through which You enter and go to work on their problems. Ps 34:1, 22:3

Give my children a wholesome dread of displeasing You so they will be intrinsically motivated to obey Your commands. Let them experience the light free feeling that flows from doing the ‘right’ thing so that they crave more and truly begin to understand that obedience is not only the root of character but the foundation…
