Show my children that great wealth misappropriated is the ruin of many people. Fill my children with purpose and promise … a drive to work hard and may they prosper … ultimately and faithfully investing their increase in You rather than hoard it for overindulgent pleasure and self-gratification. James 5:1-5

My children have talent and God requires them to use it. They will not spend precious time strengthening the talents they want rather than the ones they already have. 1 Co 12:11

Pride is the bitter enemy of my children. Humility is their dear friend. May I humble myself before God so that humility will be mine. Fill my children with joy by revealing their shortcomings. Do not let them erect defenses against their own inadequacies and try to hide their faults from themselves and others. Let them embrace justified criticism for what it is … encouragement toward spiritual growth. Proverbs 15:5

Reveal to my children their areas of weakness and help them avoid situations that tempt them to disobey You. Help them grow and mature but make them aware of danger zones so they don’t put themselves in harm’s way. They will run from temptations today! 2Timothy 2:22
