Make my children confident and courageous. Take their hand and lead them to start something today that they have been putting off rather than waiting for perfect conditions to begin. Take my hand, too! Ecc 11:4; Dt 1:29-30  

To live obedient lives … my children are not called to perfection and sinlessness but a lifestyle of confession and repentance when they sin. Thank You Lord for loving my children enough to make them miserable in their rebellion… for allowing darkness to follow rebellion… for sometimes we need darkness before we can see the tiny portal of light leading to freedom. Thank You for satisfying my children’s longings and filling their hungry souls… I respect and appreciate any…

Give my children a pure heart. Place in them a desire to study your word and identify all sin lurking in the corners if their life. Let them receive your cleansing so their hearts will be free to obey you. (Matt 5:8, Heb. 12:1, John 15:3, Psalm 50:10)

If my children don’t have peace, reveal to them the root. If the cause is their own sin may they confess it today, stop the sinful behavior, and most importantly RECEIVE forgiveness so Your joy may come to them! 2Samuel 11:27, 1 John 1:9 

My children will merrily traverse the path you have laid before them and never give up, even during trials. You will send wise travel companions to accompany them when needed, equip them with everything they need to persevere, and send encouraging supporters when they must walk alone. They are blessed.
