Build strong character in my children by teaching them the importance of self discipline. Their greatest victories will be their internal ones. They will set their standards high by following the example of Jesus so they will have the spiritual strength and character needed to accomplish great things for You. Pr 16:32, Mt 16:24

Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect.) Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. When they experience those ‘ah ha’ moments, they will pause, give thanks for Your constant companionship in their lives, and then strive to comprehend that You were there all along. Ps 3:1-8

We offer You our hearts, dedicated and fully immersed in a lifestyle of continual worship. Let my children release their gifts, talents, and abilities to You so they may hear what kind of sacrifice You want from them. When my children throw a pity-party for themselves, help them stop! Open their eyes to the immediate needs of others around them and let them find ways to help, prayers to pray, and above all… offer unconditional love. Ps 25:16

Give my children perspective, not letting them become too attached to this world. Forget Disneyland and European vacations … give them visions of Heaven and the perfection that abounds there … for we are each on earth for only a while but those who repent and turn to God through Jesus Christ will spend eternity…

Let no one deceive my children with persuasive arguments. Give them complete understanding that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ. Knit my children together with strong ties to other believers so they will always abide in You. Colossians 2:2-4
