Thank you for giving my children Your Word and giving me the insight to release its power into their lives. May they exercise the power of the Word in their own lives by learning to adhere to, trust in, and rely on it! 1Th 2:13
Thank you for giving my children Your Word and giving me the insight to release its power into their lives. May they exercise the power of the Word in their own lives by learning to adhere to, trust in, and rely on it! 1Th 2:13
Of course my children will sin, that is not the point. May they freely admit their sin so they will be forgiven and continuously cleansed from all unrighteousness. 1Jn 1:9
Do not let my children’s hearts be troubled, distressed, or agitated. Show them the Way, the Truth, and the Life… give me the words to pray over them to help my children see You and know that You are the living God able to calm their hearts. Jn 14:1,6
May my children pray from a repentant heart. If they cherish sin in their hearts, the Lord will not listen, but when my children repent God listens and hears their voice in prayer. Ps 66:18-19
To live obedient lives … my children are not called to perfection and sinlessness but a lifestyle of confession and repentance when they sin. Rather than living miserably by a set of laws, they must come to see God’s Word as their safe harbor. Obedient lives love and treasure their time reading God’s Word and…
Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect). Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. When they experience those ‘ah ha’ moments, they will pause, give thanks for Your constant companionship in their lives, and then strive to comprehend that You were there all along. Psalms 3:1-8
Don’t let my children conform to this world but let them be transformed by the renewal of their mind. Give me a heart to be their spiritual blacksmith so that I may use my time with them wisely… molding them to follow You. 1Sa 13:19
