Teach my children to learn to hear and understand Your voice. Help them identify, confess, and receive forgiveness for any sin that is blocking Your communication with them. Open their hearts so they may walk in divine authority. John 15:3

Build strong character in my children by teaching them the importance of self discipline. Their greatest victories will be their internal ones. They will set their standards high by following the example of the spiritual strength and character needed to accomplish great things for You. Pr 16:32, Mt 16:24

Give my children one voice. Show them how displeasing it is to You when they withhold their love for each other and squabble. Give them an attitude of Christ Jesus towards each other. Ro 15:5-6

Show my children that keeping score is a sign of immaturity. Show them that forgiveness is defined by their actions … and that if they truly forgive someone who offended or hurt them, their actions towards that person will communicate that fact. Let my children savor the fruits of their own industry. Give them a spirit of independence so they taste the exquisite reward of freedom… then let them readily share the overflowing abundance of their hearts and their treasure… for when they truly love others my children will begin to see God’s hand working in this…

Fill my children with joy. Teach them to know that true joy comes from thankfulness and displaying gratitude through their actions. Thank You for rescuing them from the kingdom of darkness and placing them in the Kingdom of Your Son! Colossians 1:11-13
