Help my children understand that they will need people to help fulfill Your purpose for their life and get them where they need to go next. Let them see me humble myself to others as well as honor those God has placed in my life. Romans 16:3

I am here to serve You Lord, give my children the wisdom to follow me. Though my hands are shaky and my legs are tired I am committed to your straight path where Your strength resides. Heb 12:12

We cannot produce peace, it is a fruit of the Spirit. When my children received Christ they also received His peace… they just don’t always know how to activate it. May they allow the Prince of Peace to govern their lives because it is in circumstances where my children submit to His will (not theirs)…

Keep my children close; don’t let them drift away from the assurance they received when they heard the Good News. Use me to teach them. When they experience the fruits of my love for Your people, let them crave opportunities to show their love and place people in their paths to receive it. Col 1:23…

May my children show and make obvious that they are letters from Christ delivered to the world by me… not written with ink but with the Spirit of the living God… not on tablets of stone but on tablets of the human heart. 2 Co 3:3

Help my children carry the burden of someone else today, taking time to listen to a hurting friend, show kindness to the lonely, or encourage the downtrodden with their patience. Gal 6:2
