Give my children a new heart and put a new spirit into them. May their hearts be soft and able to feel the exquisite pain of the piercing of Your arrows … so that their hearts are no longer hardened against the piercing of Your word and the teachings of our Master. Ezekiel 36:26

Give my children resiliency and a sense of humor. They are a love letter from Christ to the world … and a crabby attitude to their lives is like illegible handwriting to Christ’s love letter. 2 Corinthians 3:3

My children’s present struggle may be over what You want to do through them! When the world is saying no but something deep within my children stands firm, let them see that this is You … and if they walk it out … my children will achieve their God given destiny. John 7:38, Philippians 2:13

Help my children see that they were given the affection of compassion so that they can protect lives by helping one another. We were created by one God, descended from one man, connected by the law of kinship and should love everyone. Gal 6:2, Lactantius

Give my children one voice. Show them how displeasing it is to You when they withhold their love for each other and squabble. Give them an attitude of Christ Jesus towards each other. Romans 15:5-6

Reveal to my children Your role as Father. Use me as an example. Let them experience the snapshot of peace that comes from asking and receiving from me so they will have the confidence and motivation to tell You what they need and thank You for all You have done. Then they will experience Your…
