Build strong character in my children by teaching them the importance of self discipline. Their greatest victories will be their internal ones. Give them divine understanding of Your will so they may be confident You are listening whenever they ask anything in line with that will. Do not let my children develop an attitude of superiority. You created them to carry the burdens of others … and their load will require assistance, too. Let them receive the understanding and concept of teamwork and allow themselves to need help. The people You then place alongside them will take their breath away! 1Kings 10:20

Impress upon my children the urgency and importance of today. Rather than put off their obligations or delay their dreams, they will begin today, and in doing so release Your power over their lives. They will live by faith and not the illusion of their own power. Gal 6:4

Strengthen my children, encourage their faith, and keep them from being disturbed by the troubles they go through. 1Thessalonians 3:2-3

Help me take my tired hands and stand firm on my shaky legs. Give me wisdom to mark out a straight path for my feet. Then my children who are following me will not stumble and fall but will become strong. Hebrews 12:12-13
