In the midst of my children’s pain, let them find someone whom is hurting and offer them help and hope. In doing so they will please God and possibly save a life!

Left alone my children are vulnerable and incomplete. Surround them with Christians of all ages who continually motivate them to love Christ better and better. Create among them a spirit of Christian community where it isn’t odd or weird for them to reach out to each other for prayer or spiritual based encouragement. 3John 1:1-2
When my children throw a pity-party for themselves, help them stop! Open their eyes to the immediate needs of others around them and let them find ways to help, prayers to pray, and above all… offer unconditional love. Ps 25:16
Give my children a sense of humor and resiliency. They are a love letter from Christ to the world… and a crabby attitude to their lives is like illegible handwriting to Christ’s love letter. 2 Co 3:3
I know all about sin! Let my children admit their shame to me so that I can help relieve their guilt, lighten the heaviness, and restore their spirits. I pray they take my hand… as I know the way to the cross! Gal 6:1 BG 7-26-08
May others look upon my children as strong, courageous, joyful and loving servants of God… and know that You are all powerful and worthy of praise and thanksgiving. I pray others will turn to You because of my children. Jos 2:11
Lord, please reveal to my children the areas of their lives that displease You. Give them a wholesome dread of displeasing You so they will choose obedience. In doing so, they will release the power of Your blessings over their lives. Ps 25:11-14
