Use me to fill up anything that may still be missing in my chil- dren’s faith. Make their love grow and overflow for each other and to everyone else so that Christ will make their hearts strong, blameless, and holy when they stand before You on judgment day. Thessalonians 3:12-13
When my children experience the majesty and beauty of the natural world… may they remember Christ and know that He is the restorer of their souls. That He is altogether lovely… and their friend! SS 5:16
Do not let my children become discouraged by their past mistakes. It’s over! Your word says that you heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. Open my children’s hearts so your Spirit may pour into them and get to work. Ps 147:3
Show my children that the true church isn’t a building but Christ’s body. Help them see that they are a vital part of that body and lead them to take their place. Open their hearts to receive Christ so they may receive the benefits of His presence. Eph 1:22-23
Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect.) Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. When they experience those ‘ah ha’ moments, they will pause, give thanks for Your constant companionship in their lives, and then strive to comprehend that You were there all along. Ps 3:1-8
May my children choose to love You. Talk is cheap … their actions prove to You who they serve! You have given each of them the gift of Your voice, the constant presence of Knowledge available to them. I pray with all my heart they learn to LISTEN to You (that still, small voice in…
