My children will be the salt of this earth, daily preserving the attributes of Christ within them so they may bring forth Your love to a hurting world.
Leviticus 2:13, Mark 9:50
My children will be the salt of this earth, daily preserving the attributes of Christ within them so they may bring forth Your love to a hurting world.
Leviticus 2:13, Mark 9:50
My children will make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person that offends them. They will be bound together by love and let the peace that comes from Christ rule their hearts. Colossians 3:13-15
Develop my children’s natural abilities and place opportunities in front of them that line up with those abilities so they can discover what they love to do. Lead them in the direction of that beloved endeavor. Place other people in their paths that encourage them to stay the course. Most of all, give them the strength…
I pray that at some point in this day I will have the opportunity to teach my children that good and evil are both present in each of our hearts … and that whichever we choose to feed is the one we will become. Romans 12:21
Whenever my children pray, they must forgive anything they have against anyone so that their Father in heaven will also forgive them! If they do not, neither will their Father in heaven forgive them! Mk 11:25-26
Give my children resiliency and a sense of humor. They are a love letter from Christ to the world … and a crabby attitude to their lives is like illegible handwriting to Christ’s love letter. 2 Corinthians 3:3
Let my children think of ways to encourage one another (and the world) with outbursts of love and good deeds. Hebrews 10:24
