We are created to believe the best in every person. My children do, but they forget the most important part … ALL the time! Especially when someone is annoying them, may my children STOP and focus on the positive attributes … I am not that bad!!!

Give my children a humble spirit that they may come before You and ask You to help their weakness of faith… so that You can begin transforming their heart and teaching them that all things are possible to those that believe. Mk 9:23-24
Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect.) Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. When they experience those ‘ah ha’ moments, they will pause, give thanks for Your constant companionship in their lives, and then strive to comprehend that You were there all along. Ps 3:1-8
Give my children spiritual wisdom and understanding so that they will grow in their knowledge of You. Help them see that the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead is available to them. Eph 1:17,19-20
Send a mentor into each of my children’s lives, someone who will learn their strengths and encourage them to grow in the direction of Your Son! Thank you for letting me shepherd my flock … and thank you for sending help! Philippians 3:17
Don’t let my children wait for the perfect conditions to occur before they take steps to reach the visions you have placed in them. My children will follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit within them and stay away from sin. The act is arbitrary. That is why God says that breaking one law or commandment is as detrimental as breaking them all! The fact that we reject His authority is all that matters, on a large or small…
