May my children pray from a repentant heart. If they cherish sin in their hearts, the Lord will not listen, but when my children repent God listens and hears their voice in prayer.

When my children feel trapped and alone along the path You set before them, tell them to fear not and stand firm, confident, and undismayed. You promised to fight for them so they will not lose their peace as they rest in the comfort of Your embrace… like a small child in his father’s arms….
To live obedient lives … my children are not called to perfection and sinlessness but a lifestyle of confession and repentance when they sin. Rather than living miserably by a set of laws, they must come to see God’s Word as their safe harbor. Obedient lives love and treasure their time reading God’s Word and…
My children are only accountable for what You give them. Do not let them become bogged down comparing their lives to others. You have planted very specific purposes in their hearts and given them the resources necessary to accomplish them. Let my children rejoice when others bear fruit and let my children be satisfied with theirs!…
Your word teaches us that if anyone will not work, neither let them eat. As my children mature, help me identify appropriate ways to hold them accountable for idleness and not taking care of their business! 1Th 3:11-12
Show my children the importance of accepting other Christians, even when they don’t agree with them. Help them see that each person is responsible to the Lord and by His power He will help them do as they should. For You, God, have accepted them! Romans 14:1,4
Praying repetitive empty words blocks my children’s prayers from reaching You. May they talk to You from their hearts! Matthew 6:7-8
