I pray that at some point in this day I will have the opportunity to teach my children that good and evil are both present in each of our hearts… and that whichever we choose to feed is the one we will become.
Ro 12:21
I pray that at some point in this day I will have the opportunity to teach my children that good and evil are both present in each of our hearts… and that whichever we choose to feed is the one we will become.
Ro 12:21
Lord, I pray my children put all doubts aside regarding the state of their salvation. They have asked You to be their Lord and Savior through the sacrifice of Christ Jesus… and their hearts are being transformed as they work to remove sin from their lives. Once the doubt is gone, they will truly be…
In the midst of painful experiences when they feel rejection by their peers, let my children hear the thousands of angels in joyful assembly. Let my children come into your presence through acts obedience. Give them patience and kindness, the true expression of love for all people, especially those that hurt them. Hebrews 12:22, 12:25, 1Corinthians…
Help my children see that they were given the affection of compassion so that they can protect lives by helping one another. We were created by one God, descended from one man, connected by the law of kinship and should love everyone. Gal 6:2, Lactantius
Teach my children to feel good, invincible, happy, and free. Show them that the short lived relief from pain that comes from sin will NEVER compare to the eternal power of the Holy Spirit available to them every second of every day. Reveal to me the areas of my life that I have become dependent…
I pray my children will turn to You often throughout their day in praise and thanksgiving for the many, many blessings You have given them … their warm beds, the refreshing warmth of the sun, the warmth of my smile, and all the little surprises waiting for them as they live today. Psalms 19:13
When my children find themselves condemning others, let that be a clue that they are not receiving forgiveness for their own sin. Guilt and condemnation tell my children that their sins are too big for God’s forgiveness. Help them adopt a humble attitude and forgive themselves the way God has. Isa 43:25
