Teach my children not to condemn other Christians. Help them understand that we are each accountable to God. Let their minds be free of this clutter so they may focus on serving You.

When someone exits my children’s life… that doesn’t mean they are being abandoned… it just means that part of their story is over. May they continue to embrace those that cross their paths, then joyfully send them off at parting time. Ruth 1:14-16, 2Sa 12:20

Show my children that in every story of victory there are chapters of defeat. Teach them to estimate difficulty NOT in the light of their own resources but of Yours. Give them a spirit of adventure and confidence so they won’t be hindered by the traps of the enemy. 1 Jn 4:4

Make my house strong so the enemy can’t use us to hurt each other. As I parent Your remarkable children… I will keep them from hunger, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion… that is when they become vulnerable and make bad decisions. Show my children the steps they need to take to express their love to others… love is an action word. Let them begin to spend more time focusing on building relationships than building their toy box. This wisdom will naturally come to them as they are faced with their own mortality… they won’t long for…
