You know what you are doing. You have it all planned out. Plans to take care of my children, not abandon them. Plans to give them the future they hope for. When they call on You, when they come and pray to You, You will listen. When they come looking for You, You’ll find them….

Keep my children from believing the lie that the thing they desire most will bring them the happiness they so desperately crave (be it a relationship, their health, a certain possession, financial security, etc…). Teach my children that true happiness comes when they trust You for what they need, knowing if it’s right You’ll provide…

Don’t let any unwholesome talk come out of my mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up. My children will know my criticism is for their benefit and not feel the sting but only the comfort of my hand leading them in the way of God.Eph 4:29

I pray my children will turn to You often throughout their day in praise and thanksgiving for the many many blessings You have given them… their warm beds, the refreshing warmth of the sun, the warmth of my smile, and all the little surprises waiting for them as they live today. Ps 19:13
