Let my life be a reminder to my children that we must obey the commands of God revealed to us through scripture. Many things are kept secret and for those we aren’t responsible… but where scripture is clear… there are no ‘ifs’ or ‘buts’ nor exceptions. Dt 29:29

Show my children that in every story of victory there are chapters of defeat. Teach them to estimate difficulty NOT in the light of their own resources but of Yours. Give them a spirit of adventure and confidence so they won’t be hindered by the traps of the enemy. 1 John 4:4

Take whatever faith my children possess and work with it! Your Word is filled with thousands of promises. May my children use the index at the end of their bibles, find the promises they need to carry them through their current trial… and then believe You that You are able and willing to deliver! May…

My children will make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person that offends them. They will be bound together by love and let the peace that comes from Christ rule their hearts. Col 3:13-15

Of course my children will sin, that is not the point. May they freely admit their sin so they will be forgiven and continuously cleansed from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:9

It was never Your intent for us to view our faith as a private personal matter. Engage my children with others to be a vital member of Christ’s body sharing life with other believers. Let them serve together and develop true spiritual friendships. They will not co-exit, but co-labor for your great cause. You designed…
