I am here to serve You Lord, give my children the wisdom to follow me. Though my hands are shaky and my legs are tired I am committed to your straight path where Your strength resides. Hebrews 12:12

Help my children grasp that Your promises apply only under covenant relationship. Let them understand that You never break Your promises… but if my children choose to break covenant with You by living in unrepentant disobedience… they have broken the covenant and ultimately their conduit in receiving Your promises. 1 Ch 28:9

My children cannot throw out parts of the Bible they don’t agree with… they know this! Let them confess that Your works are marvelous, which includes their own bodies, inside and out! Let my life be a reminder to my children that we must obey the commands of God revealed to us through scripture. Many things are kept secret and for those we aren’t responsible… but where scripture is clear… there are no ‘ifs’ or ‘buts’ nor exception. Dt 29:29

Let my children be grateful. Teach them the ‘reinforcement principle’… they get more of what they acknowledge… so that they begin to routinely thank the ones they love for even the smallest favor.
