Help me take my tired hands and stand firm on my shaky legs. Give me wisdom to mark out a straight path for my feet. Then my children who are following me will not stumble and fall but will become strong. Hebrews 12:12-13

Lord, give my children the wisdom to find common ground with those You place in their life. Fill them with passion for You so they may be a light to this world. Let them receive the joy that comes with Your blessings. 1Co 9:22-23

Do not let my children become discouraged by their past mistakes. It’s over! Your word says that you heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. Open my children’s hearts so your Spirit may pour into them and get to work. Ps 147:3  

Give my children the wisdom necessary to understand the magnitude of Christ’s sacrifice. You teach us that sin has earthly consequences and You also teach us how to avoid the eternal consequences of our sin. Open my children’s hearts and make them tender … may they feel the pain of their own sin so that…

Reveal to my children their areas of weakness and help them avoid situations that tempt them to disobey you. Help them grow and mature but make them aware of danger zones so they don’t put themselves in harm’s way. They will run from temptations today! 2Ti 2:22

Encourage my children to share each other’s problems and troubles. Help them keep each other on the right path being careful not to fall into the same temptations themselves. Give them Your wisdom so they can gently and humbly help others overcome sin. Gal 6:1-2
