Don’t let anyone lead my children astray with empty philosophy and high sounding nonsense that comes from human thinking and from the evil powers of this world… and not from Christ. Col 2:8

Make my house strong so the enemy can’t use us to hurt each other. As I parent Your remarkable children … I will keep them from hunger, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion … that is when they become vulnerable and make bad decisions. Thank You for loving me and sharing this wisdom with me this morning….

Our world offers powerful substitutes for needs that only God can meet. Show my children that it is their union with Christ that makes them complete. He is the only answer. Col 2:8-10

 Give my children an overcoming spirit. Turn their weakness into strength so that they may develop the kind of faith that refuses to settle for anything less than God has promised. Heb 11:34

Teach my children that they must first obey Your voice and step out into Your will, then You will give them the ability to accomplish the goals You have placed on their hearts. Show them through successes that the call comes first, and until they mature in You … the questioning. Ultimately, if they obey,…

My children have a keen awareness that though the mountains be shaken and the hills removed, God’s unfailing love for them will not be shaken nor His covenant of peace be removed. May they rest in the fact that the Lord has compassion on them. I sure do! Isaiah 54:10
