Send a mentor into each of my children’s lives, someone who will learn their strengths and encourage them to grow in the direction of Your Son! Thank you for letting me shepherd my flock… and thank you for sending help! Php 3:17

My children will acknowledge the personal corruptions present in their hearts and give those to You, but they will not use them as a crutch to justify their shortcomings. As my children mature, I pray they begin to rejoice when they see people acting differently from ‘the world’… following the Lord in obedience instead! When my children truly begin to serve You… their definition of ‘cool’ will completely change from those imitating Hollywood… to those imitating Christ!  1 Co 13:6

Keep my children in front of Your mirror, set their gaze on You. As they begin to see their reflection through Your eyes they will see the actions they need to take in order to come in line with who You want them to become. Remind them as often as need-d to feel no shame…

Surround my children with people who celebrate and worship You. May they love and be kind to all people, especially those who don’t know You… Keep them from adopting the ways of those who do not trust You… so they do not fall victim to the enemy. Jos 23:14
