My children will merrily traverse the path You have laid before them and never give up, even during trials. You will send wise travel companions to accompany them when needed, equip them with everything they need to persevere, and send encouraging supporters when they must walk alone. They are blessed. I pray my children stand firm and NEVER give in to a coldness of heart. May they never allow the enemy to talk them into protecting themselves relationally by shutting their hearts up in a steel box. Matthew 24:12

Your word teaches us that if anyone will not work, neither let them eat. As my children mature, help me identify appropriate ways to hold them accountable for idleness and not taking care of their business! 1Th 3:11-12

When my children throw a pity-party for themselves, help them stop! Open their eyes to the immediate needs of others around them and let them find ways to help, prayers to pray, and above all… offer unconditional love. Ps 25:16

As a new day dawns, show my children what old ‘thing or habit’ they need to get rid of. They will not be held back by the past. They will move boldly into this day, their future… with no baggage or regret! Isa 43:18

All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. Scripture is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God…
