Let my children receive nourishment from Christ by meditating on the Word so that all their needs will be satisfied and their lives will abound with the fruit of His works! Ps 104:3
I pray my children will invite the Word to penetrate them through and through with its full power and authority for the purpose of sanctifying them as they are trying to walk with You while battling peer pressure. John 17:15-18, 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
As my children mature, focus their energies on forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. They are citizens of heaven, straining to reach the end of the race and make it back to You. Php 3:13, 20
I pray my children recognize that their resources are all from You. May they seek Your will and then believe You. I’m quite sure You are asking them to do far more than they believe they are capable of achieving… and I am even more certain the resources You have given them are far greater…
May my children recognize who they are… clay in the Potter’s hand. The pressure, spinning and heat may at times feel ‘too much’ for them as their lives are shaped and formed into vessels God can use to bless… as well as bless others. Isa 64:8
I want to be a good example for my children. Help me understand that true joy and peace are directly tied to my faith. If I want more joy, or more peace… I must simply ask You for more faith. Just as eating pie brings a smile to my face, asking for more faith brings…
