Do not let my children value what is worthy by the measure of this world. They will not fear displeasing their peers and being left out of certain circles, rather, they will develop a wholesome dread of displeasing You. Is 8:12-13

Pray my married children never mistreat their spouse… not only will they hurt the one they love… they will block the blessings from the ONE who loves them! 1 Pt 3:7

Keep my children from jumping to false conclusions. When they see each other seemingly displeasing You, let them take the time to ask for each other’s explanation. Most likely, all is well, as the Israelites discovered of their brethren in the matter of the Lord’s alter near the Jordan. Jos 22

Keep my children close; don’t let them drift away from the assurance they received when they heard the Good News. Use me to teach them. When they experience the fruits of my love for Your people, let them crave opportunities to show their love and place people in their paths to receive it. Colossians 1:23

Transform my children by renewing their minds. Please find a way to bring the Word into their lives today, giving them a desire to know how You want them to live. Obedience to Your Word is the best way for all of us to find what we are looking for… but the enemy is working…

Let my children be grateful. Teach them the “reinforcement principle’… they get more of what they acknowledge… so that they begin to routinely thank the ones they love for even the smallest favor. They already practice common courtesy when they are in public, thanking coaches, the lunch lady, the checkout clerks… let them bring that…
