Give my children an overcoming spirit. Turn their weakness into strength so that they may develop the kind of faith that refuses to settle for anything less than God has promised. Heb 11:34

When my children feel the favor, benefits, and opportunities that seem too good to be true, as if the stars have lined up and everything is too perfect … I pray they give You the glory. May they walk securely in Your favor in these moments and reject any feeling of discouragement, weariness or exhaustion….

Let my life be a reminder to my children that we must obey the commands of God revealed to us through scripture. Many things are kept secret and for those we aren’t responsible… but where scripture is clear… there are no ‘ifs’ or ‘buts’ nor exceptions. Dt 29:29

Reveal to my children that letting their minds become seduced from wholehearted, sincere, and pure devotion to Christ is no different from Eve taking that apple. Both hinge on the test of obedience. Reveal to my children the secret to experiencing Your constant presence… God walks with and pours blessing upon those walking with him, not the other way around! May my children learn to walk with God rather than begging Him to walk with them! 2Co 2:14, Ps. 84:5

Give my children a heart of wisdom. Help them understand the importance of developing their gifts and using their passions to make the world a better place … give them the insight to put it all together and accept beyond doubt that they are here to introduce You to others … not save others ……
