Our world offers powerful substitutes for needs that only God can meet. Show my children that it is their union with Christ that makes them complete. He is the only answer.

Make my house strong so the enemy can’t use us to hurt each other. As I parent Your remarkable children… I will keep them from hunger, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion… that is when they become vulnerable and make bad decisions. Thank You for loving me and sharing this wisdom with me this morning. Mt 24:43
I pray my children love those around them and remain faithful to others You place in their lives. When they do, my children’s lives will not only be filled with earthly blessings but more importantly have access to Your place of Shelter… and remind them that love is ‘doing’ not just ‘feeling’! Show them opportunities…
Thank You Father for breaking the hold sin had over my children. May they receive this incredible gift by faith, believing that through Christ, they have the power to resist sin. I am so grateful that You have made a way for us to travel from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God……
Help my children see that they were given the affection of compassion so that they can protect lives by helping one another. We were created by one God, descended from one man, connected by the law of kinship and should love everyone. Gal 6:2, Lactantius
Don’t let my children be discouraged by correction. Remind them that You discipline those You love, and punish those You accept as your children. Hebrews 12:5-6
Keep my children from believing the lie that the thing they d sire most will bring them the happiness they so desperately crave (be it a relationship, their health, a certain possession, financial security, etc.) Teach my children that true happiness comes when they trust You for what they need, knowing if it’s right You’ll…
