Show my children the steps they need to take to express their love to others… love is an action word. Let them begin to spend more time focusing on building relationships than building their toy box. As my children mature, I pray they begin to rejoice when they see people acting differently from ‘the world’ … following the Lord in obedience instead! When my children truly begin to serve You … their definition of ‘cool’ will completely change from those imitating Hollywood … to those imitating Christ! 1 Corinthians 13:6

My children will be the salt of this earth, daily preserving the attributes of Christ within them so they may bring forth Your love to a hurting world. Lev 2:13, Mk 9:50

I pray my children love those around them and remain faithful to others You place in their lives. When they do, my children’s lives will not only be filled with earthly blessings but more importantly have access to Your place of Shelter … and remind them that love is “doing” not just “feeling!” Show them…

Give my children a pure heart. Place in them a desire to study Your word and identify all sin lurking in the corners if their life. Let them receive Your cleansing so their hearts will be free to obey You. Matthew 5:8, Hebrew 12:1, John 15:3, Psalms 50:10
