When my children are on my last nerve and I feel overcome with irritability, selfishness, anger, or resentment for my present circumstances, may I recognize the root of the problem… which is NOT my children, but my hungry soul needing to rest in You. Just as I become a grouch when I experience physical hunger……

You know what You are doing. You have it all planned out. Plans to take care of my children, not abandon them. Plans to give them the future they hope for. When they call on You, when they come and pray to You, You will listen. When they come looking for You, You’ll find them….

I pray my children’s lives become a conduit to bring your love and purpose to fruition in the lives of those around them. Give me the wisdom to cleverly get your Word into them until the day they begin to crave time alone with you… and that time will come! Is 55:10-11

Place a burning desire in my children’s hearts to read Your Word … for every answer to every problem they are facing today can be found in their Bible. The printed words are like pipes, transporting life giving water into their souls … but they must learn to connect themselves to the source of Your…

My children will acknowledge the personal corruptions present in their hearts and give those to You, but they will not use them as a crutch to justify their shortcomings. They will present their pure unblemished hearts before You by covering themselves with the blood of Jesus… and they will live free. Lev 2:12
