As a new day dawns, show my children what old ‘thing or habit’ they need to get rid of. They will not be held back by the past. They will move boldly into this day, their future … with no bag- gage or regret!

Give my children the wisdom of Joseph to know that God is in control of our lives at all times, even in long times of trouble. May they grow in this time so they will be prepared to accomplish God’s will when the pieces fall into place. And they will! Genesis 45:8
Keep my children close; don’t let them drift away from the assurance they received when they heard the Good News. Use me to teach them. When they experience the fruits of my love for Your people, let them crave opportunities to show their love and place people in their paths to receive it. Colossians 1:23
As my children charge through their day and face the many battles waiting for them outside our door (and in their own hearts) make Your presence known. Let them know You have their back so they may confidently traverse the path You have set before them. Dt 20:1
Make my children willing to suffer for Your name, to choose not to sin and stand firm in pleasing You. This is one of the ways they show their love for You and place themselves in the Shelter of the Most High and causes them to dwell in love. Ps 91:1
Let me experience much joy and comfort from my children’s love, specifically their love for others. This kindness so often refreshes the hearts of God’s people. They worship You in serving others and behave as true disciples of Christ. Philemon 1:7
Give my children x-ray vision… to be able to spot the goodness in every situation. Just for today, I pray my children make a conscious effort to only see the good in every person and every moment. As their grumbles transform to laughter I pray they recognize the power of gratitude… their own attitude… and…
