Help my children to listen to Your word and obey it. They will show others the goodness of God for You called them out of the darkness and into Your wonderful light. 1Pe 2:8-9

May others look upon my children as strong, courageous, joyful and loving servants of God … and know that You are all powerful and worthy of praise and thanksgiving. I pray others will turn to You because of my children. Joshua 2:11

Join my children to Christ’s body by his strong sinews so they are nourished and strengthened by You. Show them that the only way to receive Your strength and blessing on earth is to bind their lives to Jesus Christ. Show them that sin weakens the connection and saps their strength. Colossians 2:19

My children cannot throw out parts of the Bible they don’t agree with… they know this! Let them confess that Your works are marvelous, which includes their own bodies, inside and out! Show my children that great wealth misappropriated is the ruin of many people. Fill my children with purpose and promise… a drive to work hard and may they prosper… ultimately and faithfully investing their increase in You rather than hoard it for overindulgent pleasure and self-gratification. Jas 5:1-5

I pray my children learn this pattern: seek You, listen, trust You, then praise You while they wait! Help my children understand that praising You is the KEY to unlocking Your power into their current situation. It is all about faith… and when their faces are long and their spirits are hopeless… their faith suffers…
