Let my children experience the exquisite peace and contentment that You have given to me. Then they will crave more and seek opportunities for righteous living… for your confidential communion and secret counsel are only with those who are upright and in right standing with You. Pr 3:32  

Reveal to my children their areas of weakness and help them avoid situations that tempt them to disobey you. Help them grow and mature but make them aware of danger zones so they don’t put themselves in harm’s way. They will run from temptations today! 2Ti 2:22

Show my children that keeping score is a sign of immaturity. Show them that forgiveness is defined by their actions… and that if they truly forgive someone who offended or hurt them, their actions towards that person will communicate that fact. Give my children an overcoming spirit. Turn their weakness into strength so that they may develop the kind of faith that refuses to settle for anything less than God has promised. Hebrews 11:34 

Don’t let anyone lead my children astray with empty philosophy and high sounding nonsense that comes from human thinking and from the evil powers of this world… and not from Christ. Col 2:8

Build strong character in my children by teaching them the importance of self discipline. Their greatest victories will be their internal ones. They will set their standards high by following the example of Jesus so they will have the spiritual strength and character needed to accomplish great things for You. Pr 16:32, Mt 16:24
