Teach my children that they must first obey Your voice and step out into Your will, then You will give them the ability to accomplish the goals You have placed on their hearts. Of course my children will fall, that is the nature of humanity! I pray they don’t view the fall as the end… but the beginning. Thank You for extending Your hand down to them… I pray they take it, rise in Your strength and finish the course You have set before them! Pr 25:16

Left alone my children are vulnerable and incomplete. Surround them with Christians of all ages who continually motivate them to love Christ better and better. Create among them a spirit of Christian community where it isn’t odd or weird for them to reach out to each other for prayer or spiritual based encouragement. 3John 1:1-2

May my children feel secure enough to approach You honestly with the secret struggles of their mind… for You promise to keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in You ! Isa 26:3

Teach my children to pray for all people, to make their requests, plead for God’s mercy upon them, and give thanks. 1Timothy 2:1 

Let each of my children be an instrument of peace… taking risks to be the voice of reason in a fallen world. We all need to reach out to our world to prevent others from choosing sin, to offer alternatives and God’s wisdom… please give my children the strength and most importantly a humble spirit…
