Lord, help my children run with exuberance. Give them endurance by stripping off every weight that slows them down. Teach them to keep their eyes on Jesus and know that they are His joy. Hebrews 12:1-2

You have planted very specific purposes in their hearts and given them the resources necessary to accomplish them. Help my children to listen to Your word and obey it. They will show others the goodness of God for You called them out of the darkness and into your wonderful light. 1Pe 2:8-9  

Lord, please reveal to my children the areas of their lives which displease You. Give them a wholesome dread of displeasing You so they will choose obedience. In doing so, they will release the power of Your blessings over their lives. Ps 25:11-14

May my children be anchored in Your ways so they don’t drift away when circumstances begin to change. Yes, problems will come but give them the wisdom to only glance their way rather than obsessing over them! Jas 1:6-8

Don’t let any unwholesome talk come out of my mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up. My children will know my criticism is for their benefit and not feel the sting but only the comfort of my hand leading them in the way of God. Eph 4:29
